Wind River Jerky Kit

I, too, had the same problem with the Wind River Jerky mold bowing up and not staying flat. I solved the problem buy getting an appropriately sized poly prepolymer cutting board from Amazon and 10 each 3/4-inch metal screws & washers. Place one at each corner, 1 each in the short side, and 2 each in the long side (properly spaced). You may or may not have to file down the exposed tips of the metal screws to avoid scratching you counter tops. I use a silicon mat underneath and have zero problems. Yes, this setup is dishwasher safe.

the only problem I had was that the plastic jerky board had curve in it like a rocking chair leg. It would not set flat. I made jerky yesterday on it and everything turned out great. I just put another batch of jerky in the oven one hour ago. I would recommend this product.
