I've been making my own venison sausage for over 20 years. I use 35 pounds of venison and 15 pounds of pork trimming, and use the Sausage Makers seasoning for 50 pound batches. I always use the 29mm - 32mm natural hog casings for my sausage, have never had a problem with these casing.
Great product! Makes great pepperoni snack sticks, easy to use, doesn’t effect the taste of the finished product.
Nice product, Minimal blow outs. Casings were a bit on the large side this year. Some pretty plump edges links this year.
