Description

The stainless steel Deluxe Cherry Pitter pits 5 cherries in a single pull of the handle. The pitted cherries fall into to the stainless steel drawer. Place a bowl or container under the pitter to catch the discarded pits.

Get your fresh cherries ready for your pies, crisps, cobbler, ice cream, jellies and jams. Cherries are phenomenal in savory dishes. Cherries shine particularly brightly when paired with duck and pork.  

Deluxe Cherry Pitter is made from stainless steel construction. Custom made by The Sausage Maker in Buffalo, New York.

New Features Include:

  • New bigger drawer: 7 5/8″ x 6 1/2″
  • Stainless steel handle for the drawer
  • Smooth black pull down handle
  • Black rubber bushing for handle and tines
  • Top of pitter attaches with screws for added safety.

How to Use
Place cherries into the slots and pull handle down. Pited cherries fall into the stainless steel drawer. Place a bowl or container under the pitter to catch the discarded pits. Handwash only. Not dishwasher safe.

    Not this year. Cherry season is almost over

    2. We recently got this in and it has been over all very helpful. That being said, the tines do seem to be a slight bit too thin, and the cups are about 2mm to small for plump bings, as are the holes for the pitted cherries to drop through. Is there a location to purchase replacement cups and tines?

    You can purchase replacement tray on the website. For repair of the tines, the unit should be sent in for repair.

    4. I ordered the cherry pitcher through Amazon. I received it today, and it appears to be a return from someone else. Someone else’s address is on the box and there is a hole in the box. This box is then placed into an Amazon box, so it wasn’t discovered until I opened the Amazon box. What do you recommend that I do?

    Our cherry pitter will ONLY remove pits from sweet cherries and nothing else.

    6. How well does this work on Montmorency pie cherries? They are smaller in size than sweet cherries.

    The smaller tart cherries do not work as well, as they will tend to slip through the rubber tray. I would research olive pitters.

    A Hi Antoine, We discontinued the Cherry stoner jr. Sorry for the inconvenience! We do not build any motorized cherry pitter's either, sorry about that. We only sell the manual deluxe cherry pitter on the website. Take care! Meghan

    We have no intention of discontinuing the Cherry Pitter, but we make it primarily for the Cherry Season (End of June through July). Not sure yet if we will have another production run on them this year. We manufacture them in-house so we have all the parts and can service them anytime.

    I am very pleased with this new found tool. There was a bit of a learning curve. The small claws needed to be aligned with the corresponding holes in the hard rubber, sometimes getting stuck and bending. It only missed a few pits. The pits often bounced off the chute and onto the floor until the pits built up then only occasionally. Even with these issues, I highly recommend this product as it still saved a ton of time. Prior to this purchase I was given an antique cherry pitter and it just mangled the cherries and the pits would get stuck, no comparison.

    We processed / pitted 70 galloons of Bing’s for the freeze drier. This machine is a huge timesaver! The design changes I would suggest is to enclose / seal the corners of the stone catcher drawer so juice doesn’t run everywhere. The acorn nuts holding the feet to the body must be nickel coated instead of stainless steel. The acorn nuts show surface rust after sanitizing in a tub of light bleach & water solution.

    If you are going to pit more than a bowl of cherries per year this is a must have tool. Pricey?? Not if you value your time. Bonus, bonus well made in the USA. Wish I had found this 10 years ago.

    The deluxe cherry pitter is a wonderful machine and does the job. The rubber part in which the fruit is placed gets damaged quickly and replacement is what we need. I have twelve trees and this one is faster than what we had before.

    Love my duel 10 pitter. Simple but so efficient. Would like to get replacement gaskets( 5 cherry on each side so double). My receipt has #32184 for the pitter style reference. Please return email with item # for the replacement gaskets. Thanks for a great product. ( also have one of your dehydrators and equally please!)

    Thank you so much for making such a great tool. This cherry pitter is one of the greatest time savers I have ever owned. I have struggled for years to process all the cherries from my 4 small trees. It used to take 3 days to hand pit a 5 gallon bucket now I can accomplish that same job in an hour and a half which allows me to process more fruit. These cherries are loved by everyone with whom I share them, so tangenially they send you thanks also.

    We had used our friend’s Cherry Stoner, were totally sold on the product. Mentioned it to another friend and ending up buying two stoners. If you process any amount of Cherries, this is a must have tool in any kitchen. Whether you juice, can, freeze of make jams and jellies. This handy tool cuts the pitting process by at least 75%. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it.
